The city of Honolulu

Walking down Kalakahua Avenue you'll find gorgeous, fragrant flowers.

Bird of Paradise - native to South Africa
Pink Hibiscus - It is believed that there were originally only five hibiscus species native to the Hawaiian islands.
Walking along the Hawaiian Hilton Resort Village, which you can get to from Waikiki beach is amazing to see!! Lots of birds and mammals (penguins, turtles, flamingoes too) to watch and listen too.  All free of charge for tourists.

The city of honolulu

The city of Honolulu is really quite special - despite the hustle & bustle I still felt like I was on a tropical island.

The great view of Diamond Head Crater and the backdrop of fancy hotels that I could never afford to stay at along with the palm trees is spectacular!!

I can't wait to go back!

Hawaii's State Flower - the Yellow Hibiscus
